Are you a people supervisor, or interested in honing your skills to become one? Join us for any or all of the Fall classes that are part of UCSB's Supervisory Certificate Program! This program is designed to provide supervisors and non-supervisors with professional development in the key areas of leadership competencies, policies and procedures, and people skills.

Scholarship Opportunities:
With the continued support of Dilling Yang, this scholarship program, established in 2003, provides financial assistance to eligible non-probationary career staff for education, training, and other professional development opportunities at UCSB. Interested in applying? First, review the Program Eligibility Guidelines. If you qualify, apply by completing the Scholarship Application Form and submit it via ServiceNow.
Policies:
- Registration Policy: Pre-registration is required. Only the individual who registered may participate in the class ("swapping” a registered participant with a non-registered participant is not permitted).
- Cancellation Policy: Cancelling via the UC Learning Center is required at least 48 hours before a class. Late cancellations will be charged the full course fee.
- Waitlist Policy: If a class is full, you may add yourself to the Wait List in the UC Learning Center. Individuals on a waitlist will be notified by HR if space opens up.
