New Repository for Career Tracks Job Standards

RE:      New Repository for Career Tracks Job Standards

Effective June 1, 2019 the Career Tracks (CT) Job Standards will be moved from SharePoint to Google Team Drive. Access to the job standards will be automatically granted to all UCSB netID holders and a new folder named “Career Tracks Job Standards” will appear on the user’s Google Team Drive.

Links to the new location and instructions on how to access and navigate the CT Job Standards on Google Team Drive are available on the Human Resources website at https://www.hr.ucsb.edu/hr-units/compensation/job-standards-series-concepts.

The UC Career Tracks (CT) Job Standards replaced the old UC Series Concepts for policy covered positions in May of 2018. Each CT Job Standard describes the scope, key responsibilities, and the knowledge, skill and ability requirements of the job levels within a job function. These job standards provide information that can be used to create or enhance job descriptions and are also used as a job classification tool.
