The Retirees Association offers a wide variety of programs for fun and information, enabling staff retirees to maintain old and develop new friendships. The association keeps abreast of changes to retirees benefits and sends representatives to attend meetings of the system-wide Council of University of California Retiree Associations (CUCRA), the voice of UC Retirees in continuing dialogue with UC leadership.
As a retiree of UCSB, you have provided priceless service to our campus during the course of your employment. The Retirees Association in turn would like to be of service to you. The following features of the Retirees Association are provided to all members: Interaction among retirees through a diversity of programs; enjoyment of new, continued, and renewed friendships among its members; assist members in understanding UC benefits available to them; social activities.

HOLIDAY LUNCHEON
Annual Holiday Luncheon
Each year members gather during the holiday season for our annual Holiday Luncheon at Mulligan's Cafe. Retirees are encouraged to bring gifts for distribution to less fortunate children within our community. The food is always great, and festivities include holiday entertainment, a social hour and raffle. The Chancellor and Mrs. Yang are frequent attendees at this annual event.
SUMMER LUNCHEON
Annual Members Summer Luncheon
Each June the Retirees Association offers a fun luncheon and raffle. We present an overview of the year past, and conduct an election and vote of Retirees Association officers.
Retirees Association Scholarships
This year the Retiree Association will proudly donate $3,000 to the Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara. Thanks to your membership dues, each scholarship is presented to a deserving student in the Santa Barbara area. Together with your continued membership support, we are able to offer these scholarships every year.
