RE: Introducing UCPath Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM)

***** This message is being sent on behalf of Cynthia Señeriz. Please do not reply to this message.*****

Dear UCSB Business Officers, OACIS Submitters & Reviewers, and UCPath WFA Initiators & Approvers,

This spring, we will introduce a new UCPath module to facilitate staff (non-student) hiring: UCPath Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM).

With the new UCPath TAM module, hiring managers can perform staple recruitment functions. If you do not handle staff (non-student) hiring, this communication does not apply to you.

OACIS currently consists of two modules: the job description module and the applicant-tracking module. OACIS will continue to be the system of record for job description actions and the job description library, but TAM will replace the OACIS job requisition and applicant tracking module.

Introduction to TAM Series

To prepare for the transition to TAM, we will host a series of three topics throughout February, March, and April. The series is not training; it’s an opportunity to learn about TAM and dive into its organizational and process impacts on recruitment and hiring.

Register for the series via the UC Learning Center (tip: Enter “TAM” with quotes in the search field). There will be multiple sessions for three topics: Introduction to TAM, Submitting Hires, and Preparing for Go-Live. Hiring managers are encouraged to attend one of each topic. Seating space is limited, so please register as soon as possible.

Some of the sessions will be offered via Zoom for those who cannot attend in person (see the schedule below). If you plan to attend via Zoom, please register in the UC Learning Center to allow us to track attendance. We will provide a recording of each topic afterward.

Stay tuned for future announcements regarding official TAM training, which is planned for May.
