RE: ASAP Wellness Workshop – Navigating Uncertain Times Through Cultivating Self-Compassion
Challenging and uncertain times often activate feelings of overwhelm, anxiety, fear, disconnection, confusion, and anger. Research shows that practicing compassion toward ourselves helps us build resources to cope with difficulty, uncertainty, and distress. This workshop will focus on building skills and resources for navigating uncertainty. We will discuss strategies for cultivating self-compassion through mindfulness, self-kindness, and normalizing common responses to distressing events.
We will be offering two separate wellness workshops on two different days to allow people to attend in person or on zoom. Join us for a 45 minute workshop to explore self-compassion and build strategies for recognizing your own needs, regulating your nervous system, and connecting to sources of fulfillment and meaning in your life.
