RE:  Call for 2022-23 Cohort Participation: Gaucho Mentor Connection (GMC)

The Gaucho Mentor Connection (GMC) is enthusiastic to announce the application period for consideration to participate in the upcoming 2022-2023 Cohort as mentors and mentees. The Gaucho Mentor Connection Program provides participants with the opportunity for professional development, networking, and skill acquisition through peer-to-peer mentorship. The mentorship program empowers staff to be active contributors to our campus culture of interdisciplinary collaboration that is responsive to the needs of our diverse and global society. GMC is open to all UC Santa Barbara staff members who have achieved their first year of service.

Program Overview:

●       Mentor/Mentee Pairing

●       Quarterly Mixers

●       Informal Meet Ups

●       Graduation Celebration

Commitment Overview:

Participating in GMC necessitates an academic year commitment from incoming Mentors and Mentees. The term cohort runs MONTH 2022 through MONTH 2023. Pairings will determine how often they meet outside of the pre-scheduled GMC programming.
