RE: UCPath Open Enrollment Confirmation & 2019 Updates
If your medical insurance coverage in 2019 is UC Care PPO, Health Savings Plan, Core or UC Blue & Gold HMO please know that your behavioral health coverage will show as “waived” in the UCPath portal and on your Open Enrollment Confirmation. Do not be alarmed. You still have behavioral health coverage under these plans. This field is available for plans that may have alternative behavioral health options (such as, Kaiser).
2019 Reminders & Updates:
• Starting Jan. 1, 2019, Managed Health Network (MHN) will be the new behavioral health provider for the UC Blue & Gold HMO (formerly Health Net Blue & Gold HMO) plan.
• Employees may enroll in pet insurance any time of the year. Learn more and enroll on the Nationwide website at petinsurance.com/uc, or call Nationwide at 877-738-7874.
ID Cards:
Medical ID cards will mail out in late December.
• All Anthem members (UC Care, Health Savings Plan & CORE) will receive new Anthem ID cards.
• All Health Net members (UC Blue & Gold HMO) will receive new ID cards.
• Only new Kaiser HMO members will receive an ID card.
