RE: SAVE THE DATE 8/29 - All Staff Invitation to the Gaucho Growth Speaker Series for Summer 2017
Please join us on Tuesday, August 29th for our second Gaucho Growth Speaker Series session for Summer 2017 - Wired for Growth: The Neuroscience of Learning. This session will identify key findings on the neuroscience of learning and how these principles can enhance instructional design and delivery in education and workplace settings, as well as teach us how to enhance our own learning through simple techniques and strategies.
Dr. Britt Andreatta is an internationally recognized thought leader and speaker on leadership and learning and has formerly worked at UCSB as a lecturer and assistant dean, as the former Chief Learning Officer for Lynda.com, and as a Senior Learning Consultant for global leadership and talent development at LinkedIn.
Supervisors are encouraged to support staff requests for professional development release time to attend these events, consistent with policy and collective bargaining agreements.
