The Office of the President has issued the following update on the status of negotiations for the Clerical unit.  Please distribute this update to all affected management and clerical staff in your respective areas.  

UC and the Teamsters have agreed to extend the current contract through 11:59 p.m., Friday, December 9, 2016 while the two sides continue negotiating a new agreement covering the University’s more than 11,000 clerical employees. 

The current contract originally expired on November 30, 2016.

The University will provide additional updates as they are available.
