SX (AFSCME) Employees 3% Range Adjustment

RE:     SX (AFSCME) Employees 3% Range Adjustment

This memo sets out the schedule for the 3% range adjustment process for SX (AFSCME) Employees.  The process will begin on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, but this process does not require the departments to do anything.  The entire process will be handled centrally in HR.  The only action we ask departments to take is:

1.     BEFORE the freeze begins, please ensure that the distributions and appointments in PPS are current for all SX employees.

2.     AFTER the EDB update (the evening of September 6), please review the final EDB updates in PPS and confirm that all of your SX employees were included in the range adjustment.

The effective date for this 3% range adjustment is October 9, 2016 for all BW paid SX employees and October 1, 2016 for all MO paid SX employees.

3% Range Adjustment Schedule

August 31, 2016 – the PPS Freeze begins at 3:00 p.m. and the preliminary roster will be run (evening).

September 1 and 2, 2016 – HR reviews the preliminary roster and necessary corrections.

September 2, 2016 – second run of the preliminary roster (evening)

September 6, 2016 – HR’s final review of the roster and any final corrections.

September 6, 2016 – EDB update (evening)

September 7, 2016 – PPS Freeze concludes at 8:00 a.m. and Departments review their employees to confirm the accuracy of the updates.

The PPS Freeze will be in effect from 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2016 through Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 8:00 a.m.  Once the final EDB update is run I will let you know when the freeze is over.
