All newly eligible employees have a choice of primary retirement benefit options, with costs shared by you and UC. Participation in one of the options is required, and you choose the one that’s right for you.

Reminder....What you need to do
You will need to choose a primary UC retirement benefit option within 90 days of the date you become eligible. In general, your eligibility date is your hire date. If you are uncertain about your eligibility date, please call the UC Retirement Administration Service Center at 1-800-888-8267.
You can compare the options and make your selection at www.myucretirement.com/choose.
If you don’t make an active choice within the 90-day period, you automatically will be enrolled in Pension Choice.
