Mandatory Employment Notices – New Supplement to “EEO is the Law” Poster

RE:       Mandatory Employment Notices – New Supplement to “EEO is the Law” Poster

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) are working together to update the “EEO is the Law” poster in light of recent regulatory changes. The OFCCP will post a notice on its website to let contractors know when the new poster is available for use.

However, in the interim, the OFCCP requires contractors to utilize a supplement along with the current “EEO is the Law” poster. The supplement is available on OFCCP’s website here. The poster and its supplement should continue to be displayed (or posted) in conspicuous places where they are easily visible to all employees and by applicants for employment.

UC employees and applicants for employment should be able to view both posters as soon as possible.
