RE: The Chancellor’s Reception to Honor New Retirees
This is to announce that the second annual Chancellor’s Reception to Honor New Retirees will be held at the Mosher Alumni House on Tuesday, May 24, to honor those staff and faculty who have formally given notice of their plans to retire in 2016.
Although separate departmental events may be held to recognize the individual contributions of these staff and faculty and honor their service, this event - coordinated by the UCSB Emeriti/Retirees Associations Center in HR, and Retirees and Emeriti Associations - to celebrate their retirement and to welcome new retirees as members of the wider university community.
Please notify appropriate staff and faculty in your department about the event and encourage them to attend.

Who Is Invited
Staff and faculty who have given formal notice that they plan to retire in 2016, and a guest.
How to Respond
Prospective retirees should respond by calling or sending an email to Debra Martin at Debra.Martin@hr.ucsb.edu or x4119.
