Enroll in Benefits

Enroll in Benefits
As a new employee, you probably have a lot of questions about your Health and Welfare Benefits. In addition to New Employee Orientation, you will find resources to help you make the right choices on UCnet.

Remember, you have 31 days from your first day at work to enroll in your benefits.

Newly appointed faculty members who don’t enroll within 31 days of their start date have a second period of eligibility that begins on the first day of classes for the semester or quarter in which the appointment starts or the first day the faculty member arrives at the campus, whichever comes first.

For most plans, you’re covered on your first day at work.  But, we will need time to process your enrollment.
