The Academic and Staff Assistance Program is offering a special speakers series this fall titled Pathways to Healing: Recovering from the IV Tragedy. This lunch time speaker series will explore a range of healing processes and provide information to help answer your questions. Please join us as we bring to campus experts in disaster and trauma, local therapists, clergy members, teachers of meditative practices and several of our own faculty and staff to offer a variety of perspectives on healing.

This briefing will provide practical information about how staff,

faculty and students have, and typically will, respond to violent

tragedy. We will focus on both individual and community responses.

 

  • Updates will be provided about how campus offices have

and continue to respond to the tragedy.

 

  • We will give special attention to the needs of new and

returning students.

 

  • Suggestions will be offered to staff and faculty about how to

support and refer students to appropriate resources as

needed.

 

  • Resources for faculty and staff will be provided.
