Re: Bargaining Units’ Scheduled July 2014 Wage and UCRP Implementations
Hello Everyone –
This email updates my Summary of Upcoming Wage Implementations memo of April 4, 2014 (http://www.hr.ucsb.edu/memos/2014/summary-upcoming-wage-implementations).
The attached memo sets out the schedule for the bargaining units’ wage and UCRP implementations for July 2014. As you can see, the wage implementation is effective for all bi-weekly employees in the CX, EX, NX, and SX units on July 6, 2014. The wage implementation for any monthly employees in these units will be July 1, 2014. For the PA unit, the bi-weekly wage implementation is effective on Jun 22, 2014 and July 1, 2014 for any monthly employees.
As a reminder these implementations will be handled centrally by the Human Resources and Payroll offices. We will keep you informed of any updates or changes as well as the pertinent PPS “freeze” dates.
After the EDB has been updated – we will let you know when that happens – we request that you please go to PPS and review the accuracy of the changes on the impacted employees, i.e., confirm that the steps and pay rates match, all eligible employees were updated, etc.
