RE: 2015 Open Enrollment Begins October 30 through November 25, 2014
Stability is the watchword for this fall’s Open Enrollment. All of the current medical plans will be available in 2015, with a few benefits enhancements and no major changes. Open Enrollment, the time each year when you can change your medical plan and sign up for other benefits, is a good time to consider any changes to your situation, plan ahead for significant medical events and take stock of your physical wellbeing. UC offers a wealth of valuable benefits for faculty and staff, and Open Enrollment is a great time to be sure you’re taking advantage of those that are suited to your needs.
Open Enrollment begins at 8 a.m., Oct. 30 and runs through 5 p.m., Nov. 25.
The details regarding Open Enrollment changes are available on the Open Enrollment website at http://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu/oe and in the Open Enrollment booklets, which employees and retirees will receive via U.S. mail. There will also be events and presentations to learn more about plan options and changes. Details about information sessions at UCSB are posted in the Open Enrollment Events Flyer at http://www.hr.ucsb.edu/sites/www.hr.ucsb.edu/files/docs/benefits/OE_Event_Flyer_EE.pdf
I invite you to read further about this year’s open enrollment in a message to the UC community from Dwaine B. Duckett, VP for Human Resources at http://www.hr.ucsb.edu/sites/www.hr.ucsb.edu/files/docs/training/Duckett_OE_message-FINAL.pdf.
The Spanish version of the message is available at http://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu/oe//_files/pdf/DD%20message%20OE_final_Spanish.pdf.
