Performance Management Program

Human Resources offers a series of in-person and e-courses to provide all UCSB staff with comprehensive training on Performance Management.   To register for available classes or access e-courses, log into the UC Learning Center website (link is external) and enter code PMCP in the search field to look for available offerings.  Note:  Each e-course is a stand-alone course; upon completion of all ten core e-courses, plus an elective course from each of the core competencies, a certificate of completion for the entire series will be made available for printing. Overview of the Performance Management Process

Performance Management is much more than just an annual employee evaluation and should be a year-round process.  This instructor-led class will give a general introduction to performance management principles, performance evaluation forms used on campus, and the Performance Management Certificate Program.

Performance Management Certificate Program (E-Courses)

The Performance Management Certificate Program is a series of on-line courses developed to provide managers and supervisors with easy access to all the core information necessary to effectively manage the performance of staff employees.  All staff, including those who aspire to manage people, can take this series of 30-60 minute courses. To access e-courses, log into the UC Learning Center website (link is external) and enter code PMCP in the search field to look for available offerings.  Note:  Each e-course is a stand-alone course; upon completion of the program, you may print your certificate of completion by accessing the Learning Activity Report Training Transcript from the Learner Dashboard, clicking on the link for the Curriculum: UC Performance Management Certificate Program, and clicking on the certificate icon Diploma
