Emeriti and Retiree ID Cards

The UCSB Emeriti/Retirees Center distributes Emeriti and Retirees ID cards.  Contact the center coordinator to request a card.

Privileges for UCSB Emeriti

Transportation & Parking Services

UCSB Emeriti who are not on pay status are eligible for free campus parking. Bring your Emeriti ID card and a photo ID to Parking Services located in Building 381 next to Caesar Uyesaka Stadium. Information about obtaining or renewing a permit and parking areas is available at the Parking Office or online.

Library

To renew your UCSB library card into retirement, bring your Emeriti ID card, a photo ID, and your previous library card (if you have it) to the circulation desk at either the Davidson or Arts Library.

Recreation Center

Retired Faculty are eligible for a UCSB Recreation Membership at the discounted current Faculty/Staff rate. Bring your Emeriti  ID card and a photo ID to the Cashier office located in the Rec Cen Building to sign up for membership.

Bookstore

Emeriti are eligible for the educational discount on Apple products at the UCSB Bookstore. Bring your Emeriti ID card to the cash register when purchasing Apple products to receive a discount.

Discounted tickets to Magic Mountain and Disneyland are available at the Associated Students Ticket office to all Emeriti and Retirees. (Please note, discounts to on-campus activities and concerts are restricted to current students only.) The ticket office is located at the University Center near the Corwin Pavilion.
