Welcome to UCSB! A successful orientation requires the combined efforts of the supervisor, the employee and University service units to effect a smooth transition to campus life.
Preparing For Your First Day
Finding your way around
Your hiring department will give you instructions on how to obtain a parking permit for your first day on campus. You will need to complete the new hire paperwork before you can apply for a long-term permit.

For most plans, you’re covered on your first day at work. But, we will need time to process your enrollment.
